Like any job, paperwork is present in libraries. Briefly we will talk about what is expected of you. This section focuses on the State Library's requirements. Each city and county is unique, and you may be required to fill out paperwork specifically for your area. January

Updated Library Directory and Public Library Annual Statistics information available on MSL website. Includes prior years.

February

(Complete preliminary budget.)

March

(Adopt preliminary budget.)

April

Collection Management Honor Roll announced. (Submit preliminary budget to funding body.)

May

Federation Plans of Service due.

June

(Close out budget for current year. Adopt and submit final budget for upcoming year.)

July

Montana Public Library Standards and Federation Grants Agreements due.

August

(Approve and submit final annual report to governing body.)

September

Public Library Annual Statistics due. State aid checks distributed.

October

Library Directory information due.

November

Federation annual reports due

December

Collection management policy revisions/updates due for Collection Management Honor Roll
